Westpac asked me to create this film in order to help people remember the soldiers lost to war. Thanks to the help of the Westpac volunteers and Ruffel's production house I was able to plant all 10,000 poppies before first light and capture the touching moments of people arriving into Christchurch airport, greeted by a field of flowers and the promise "We will remember them."
