Tasked with the job of branding the new café and function centre in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens we set about finding out what made this spot so special. We discovered that the café and events centre is a place where people can indulge in nature beyond that of a park café. Here they can explore all it has to offer with from color, scent, taste to absorbing the readily available scientific details and history. This allowed me to create the concept the brand positioning, 'ilex. From garden to plate, we appreciate.' From here we developed a modern look & feel for the identity and across the launch campaign.
